In 1928, Le Corbursier and his friends designed what he commonly refers as “cushion baskets,” the LC2 and LC3 Collections after a year, it was presented at the Salon d’Automne in Paris. The LC3 2 Seater Grand Sofa is one of Le Corbusier’s most important pieces. It is elegant and extremely functional, a modernized response to the traditional chair and after 90 years, it is still manufactured worldwide.
