Like Many of us, Eero Saarinen found it too uncomfortable to dine with too much legs around us so he found the perfect solution when he designed the Tulip Round Dining Table in mid-1950s. He dedicated five years designing the revolutionary ‘Tulip’ collection to address the "ugly, confusing, unrestful world" he observed underneath chairs and tables - the so-called "slum of legs."
